I’ve always been curious about how people who have honed a certain skill for a long time got to where they are now.
That’s why I used to watch documentaries like Jiro Loves Sushi or the Kings of Pastry or Sky Ladder where you get a small taste of how someone who is dedicated to a craft sees their world and what their journey has been like.
It’s fun for me to get a glimpse into what their reality is, what they focus their attention on, where they draw inspiration from.
I often find it broadens my own perspective and appreciation for another person’s craft.
When it’s someone who has taken a similar journey to ours, their experience and the challenges they faced can often help to give context to our own even if our experience is different and unique to us.
It is somehow reassuring to know that we’re not the only ones on a similar path, and witnessing someone else’s dedication can often be quite inspiring.
A number of people have been asking to know a bit more about me personally. My family, how I grew up and how I used to view and experience my world and how that has changed, so in this week’s episode (#70), Dennis and I get up close & personal. It is not very often that I speak of my personal experience and I’m sharing in the hope that it helps you.
The free Group Frequency Calibration® (GFC) at the end is the most important part – it will help you narrow the gap between where you are and where you want to be in your journey.
Without clearing these distortion patterns we just spin around where we are, feeling frustrated that we don’t seem to be moving forward.
Here’s to the journey!
Until next time,
Karen
