My family has always been very close and when my father died a few years ago, it was a really hard time.

It was particularly rough for my mom. They’d been married for over 50 years and all of a sudden she no longer had her best friend with her.

Grief can be so all-consuming, so painful, so . . . hard.

And it can stem from so many things — the loss of a loved one, the end of an important relationship, the loss of a job, a significant change in one’s life (menopause, empty nest syndrome), etc.

It’s such an intrinsic part of the human experience. When you’re in the throes of it, it can feel like it’s never going to end. For so many people, the effects of grief can linger on for ages, impacting their quality of life – often without the person even knowing it.

Oddly, however, there is an unexpected connection between grief and growth that most people aren’t aware of.

In this week’s episode, Fiona and I explore the journey through grief, one of its main purposes, and the surprising opportunity that grief can provide if we know what to look for.

The Group Frequency Calibration® (GFC) associated with this episode will target the distortion patterns that keep us from being able to move through grief in order to find growth.

Without releasing these distortion patterns, we can get stuck in a very painful place – and this itself is sad because this is something we can overcome.

Let’s rise together!™

SUMMARY:

Even if we’re not consciously aware of it, grief is often very interwoven in our lives. Whether it’s people you love having passed on, or you’ve left a relationship that no longer served you, or even if you’re moving into a newer, better version of yourself—we can grieve the loss of what was, even those things that we know weren’t really good for us.

It is so visceral, often painful and it can sometimes feel like it’ll never end.

In this episode, we dive into how to best journey through grief, the importance of and the reason for the grief process, and what to watch out for.
