When I was about 10, my dad and I started taking long walks together in the summer.
He loved to jog but his back was bothering him that year, so instead it was long, brisk walks.
We’d leave the house at around 8am and be back around noon.
Sometimes we’d talk. Most of the time though we’d walk in comfortable silence.
As I grew older we didn’t walk as regularly as that summer but somehow, when he sensed I was worried about something, he’d get us out walking.
And somehow, somewhere along that walk, whatever I was stressed about became less intense.
Now, knowing what I know, he was teaching me how to reset myself into the present moment of time, instead of spinning out in the unknown future worry.
He was teaching me a form of self-care. Of bringing myself back into my center, into the present moment of time.
Giving yourself effective self-care allows you to better pace, physically, with all the changes that happen on spirit level when you’re accelerating in the awakening process.
In this week’s episode, Fiona and I share 9 unexpectedly powerful self-care tips. These are all tips you can do on your own.
Massage, chiropractic, acupuncture, cryotherapy, etc., can all be fantastic self-care modalities but sometimes you need to have some effective tools that you can do yourself, right NOW!
The Group Frequency Calibration® (GFC) associated with this episode will help you to reset to your own sense of time so you can better stay centered in the present moment.
Without that, life can feel like it’s always coming at you.
Also, if you enjoy this episode, please share a comment on what self-care tip you like best, or one of your own that I didn’t mention. I’d love to know what it is!
Let’s rise together!®
